Pony Crewels Needles are suitable for embroidery, sewing, knitting, cross stich ,threading cards, craft and DIY.

A crewel needle is a medium length sewing needle with a sharp point and a long eye for threading multiple or thick yarns. Crewel needles have a medium-long eye, a shaft slightly thinner than the eye (the eye bulges slightly at the top of the shaft), and a sharp tip. 

These needles are used for general surface embroidery, crewel work, goldwork, whitework, and practically any embroidery technique that requires a sharp needle. Embroidery (or “crewel”) needles have sharp points and slightly elongated eyes.

Crewel needles are identical in length and thickness to Sharps but have a longer eye for easier threading with thicker embroidery threads.

These are ideal for nearly all surface embroidery and smocking.

Size 5 suitable for 6strands embroidery. size 9, 10 suitable for 1 strand embroidery, sugarbeads work etc.
